Aradhana Bingisser, mixed-media artist and art teacher.
French, born in Algeria, M.D. in Sociology from the University of Aix-en-Provence/France. 1966
1966-1967: Sociologist at the Mairie of Nice Cǒte d'Azur.
1967-1970: Actress in the Living Theater from New York, hereby travelled all over Europe and the USA. Her husband, an accomplished artist and stage decorator, triggered her creativity.
1970-1973: Lived and travelled all over India, being introduced to many artists and art techniques, under the sponsorship of Ajit Moogerjee, director of the Museum of Arts and Crafts in New Dehli.
1974-1981: Full time contract at a city of West Berlin free-time activities centers, teaching creativity to children, teenagers and adults. Began to do her own leather designs for the berliner Kurfürstendamm boutiques.
1984-1991: Lived in the US, mostly on Maui Hawaii. Creating a line of hand-painted designs on cotton and silk and learning with many artists friends in Hawaii, among whom was Andrea Smith, internationally known for her "Art for Peace" water colors.
